Trust Accounting

This module maintains trust (escrow) account transactions generated by your closings. Most transactions (checks and deposits) are entered automatically as they are printed in the Disbursement Module of ACTWIN. However, checks and deposits manually created, or created by another closing program, can easily be entered through our data entry screen. Transactions can be voided, and adjustments can be made to correct errors made by your bank.

This is how the transactions are displayed in the main view of Trust Accounting.
You can sort them by Ledger (order) No., Transaction No., Date, Payee/Remitter or Dollar Amount.
 
Check and Deposits are easy to clear at month-end reconciliation time.
A window like the above is displayed with all uncleared transactions at top, and as you clear them, they appear in the cleared list at the bottom.

The month end process allows for the reconciliation of your bank account -- up to 99 different banks can be maintained and reconciled. This operation allows you to match your account with the bank statement, make adjustments as needed and produce all necessary month end reports. And Trust Accounting offers a wide range of reports including daily, weekly and monthly check and deposit registers, outstanding check and deposit reports and ledger (closing order) detail reports. These comprehensive reports make management of your trust account easy.

NOTE: Though this module is mostly finished, there is more refinement needed before installing it in an operating office.
