The activity tracking option allows you to track as many activities for an order as you need. The activities can be grouped into categories for "closing", "title", "pre-closing", or any category you want. Activities include such examples as ordering the title search, the survey, and loan payoffs. It can track anything that needs the date and time it was started (or ordered) and the date and time it was finished (or returned.). Any activity can have a "due date" with the ability to view them by date.

The AMS Report Writer enhances data access to both Closing and Policy Production Modules. Custom design your own reports. Selectively retrieve and print your data in any order. Create subtotals and averaging. The AMS Report Writer is a useful management tool for discovering detail about the "when, where, and how" of your business, as well as to project future income from pending orders.

AMS Word is our proprietary word processor used throughout ACTWIN for the entry of legal descriptions, title commitment requirements, commitment and policy exceptions, letters to lenders, brokers, buyers or sellers and printing of documents. AMS Word offers all the basic features of a word processor including search and replace, cut, paste, format, move, copy, insert delete and word wrap. You can also insert common clauses and paragraphs with AMS Word. AMS Word's spell checker allows you to look for misspelled words and offers suggestions for correcting them.

One of the functions of a good closing and title production program is to allow you to create and customize your documents AMS Word is the heart of document preparation for ACTWIN . This option allows you to add, modify, or delete most documents with great control and ease. And, being a GUI Windows program, ACTWIN allows you to view your documents as you create them.

NOTE: Though this module is mostly finished, there is more refinement needed before it can be used for document generation and printing.

The major function of the title business is to prepare title commitments and title policies. ACTWIN handles this with the use of our build-in word processor, AMS Word. The data is gathered with a few input screens -- and anything that was entered in the order entry or closing section, is automatically there.

When requirements or exceptions are needed, AMS Word pops-up. The user can retrieve any clause or phrase from their list of commonly used requirements or exceptions. With a few keystrokes, the commitments and policies are created.

ACTWIN allows for multiple underwriters and automatically selects the correct form to print based on the information entered. ACTWIN supports both laser forms or fill-in the blank forms. We maintain all of the forms approved by the underwriters.
